Hamburg Theatre
"STRONG OPENING NIGHT"
The eight artists met at the Atrium acting school in Hamburg and, as the collective Muse, now want to showcase their talent to the public. To do so, they've moved into the "Satellit" on Mönkebergstraße. A truly fitting name for their small festival, where they will demonstrate their immense talent, creativity, and energy over six days. The opening night, curated by one of them, Morenike Olalusi, offered an impressive glimpse into her multifaceted abilities. She wrote the text for her staged reading, titled "ÌYÁ NLÁ" (Great Mother), designed the set, and performs it together with a cellist on the elongated container stage. (...)
Already worth seeing. A strong opening night that makes you want to visit the satellite cinema again.

"I was deeply impressed by the realization of this dream, the one that clearly lies behind it, or rather, forms the basis of this project, the Muse collective. When you get a glimpse of a project's potential right from the start, you're happy to be part of the audience and be inspired. What magical worlds emerged from the satellite, and how the people who came out transformed in so many ways. A successful start to a journey, I'd say, and let's see what the future holds! :)"

" The MUSE collective showcases art from women's lives – allowing itself to be imperfect and bold, to discover and to question. Even the journey from the first mention of its founding to the premiere of its first theater week was incredibly exciting!"
It's incredible what eight women can accomplish alongside work, life, and other obligations.
The artists of the collective do their own thing with passion! Nobody rolls out the red carpet for you; you have to do it yourself, and the MUSES have earned that red carpet! – Audience member Kim Benning
